VENTIA METAL Roof & Wall Underlay with Drainage Mat is a highly breathable roof and wall underlay designed specifically for applications where metal roofing requires effective drainage and ventilation. The product combines Ventia Iron underlay with an integrated polymer drainage mat, creating a separation layer between the underlay and metal roof cladding.
The integrated drainage mat helps provide a continuous drainage and ventilation space beneath profiled metal roofing. This separation is particularly useful with reactive metal claddings because it helps prevent direct contact between the metal and underlay while allowing condensation and moisture to drain away.
Designed for Metal Roofing
VENTIA METAL is designed for use beneath profiled and open-pan style metal roofing, including applications such as Eurostyle, TRS Standing Seam, ESPAN, Eurotray and Euroline where drainage and ventilation are required. The drainage layer can also help minimise the appearance of oil canning in long-run metal roof sheets.
Wall Retrofit Applications
As well as roofing applications, VENTIA METAL can be used for certain wall retrofit insulation applications. It can provide a drainage cavity between existing wall cladding and insulation, making it particularly relevant to projects where external cladding is retained.
