Product Details
Ventia Iron Black is a self-adhesive, high-performance, fully adhered weather protection underlay for RAB wall systems while still allowing exceptional breathability.
BRANZ Appraised (1258) and exceeds NZBC requirements.
Suitable applications:
- Roof and wall underlay on Structural Insulation Panel (SIP) construction
- Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) construction such as James Hardie, GIB Weatherline, or Ecoply
- Wall underlay adhered to rigid underlays of plywood, OSB boarding, and fibre cement fixed to timber or steel-framed walls
- Roof underlay adhered to plywood or OSB boarding on pitched roofs (minimum 3°, less than 8°)
- Temporary weathertightness protection during internal works
Plywood minimum 7mm thick for walls, 15mm for roofs. Fibre cement minimum 6mm thick. Suitable for all wind zones. Use with ViBest Super Pro Flashing Tape, Seals and Corner Moulds to complete the system.
